Born and raised in Paris ,KY. Andrew served in the United States Navy for six years, four of which aboard the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt. During his time aboard he was deployed twice overseas in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. After being honorably discharged he was employed with AEP for eight years working as a field service engineer.

He currently resides in Hidden Valley, Indiana with his wife Janie and two daughters Ella and Lily. When he is not busy being a dad and running the business he enjoys skiing in the winter, boating in the summer, and hunting in the spring and fall. He looks forward to serving the clients of Hummel Hatfield Insurance with the same core principles that he learned while in the service and they are Honor, Courage, Commitment.
